Athena 7 Minute Lift has generated a lot of buzz lately and it was recently featured at the 2009 Oscars Celebrity Red Carpet Gift Event. Many people have reported great results in the reduction of wrinkles on their skin. Athena Skincare, the company which produces Athena 7 Minute Lift even claims that the wrinkle cream can drastically reduce wrinkles and fine lines in as little as 7 minutes, as suggested by its name. So in order to take a closer look at the Athena’s face lift in jar, I decided to put it to test by ordering one for myself. If it’s really that good as claimed by Athena Skincare, I would be more than happy to spread the words around to you and other consumers so that everyone can benefit from my discovery about the Athena 7 Minute Lift.
What’s in the Athena 7 minute Lift?
Before we get into the pros and cons of Athena wrinkle cream, it’s best to first get to know more about the ingredients in the product. According to my own observations, the Athena 7 minute Lift is a natural wrinkle cream that doesn’t contain any hazardous chemicals. It consists mainly of 12 organic essential oils for example the Organic Jasmine Oil and the Organic Rose Oil. Both of the botanical oils are great substances that have quite a few benefits to the skin. They are known to have a soothing effect on skin irritations and helps in revitalizing our skin. The combination of these natural oils actually plums and lifts the skin which essentially tights away those unwanted wrinkles.
Does Athena 7 Minute Lift Really Work?
After I put my order on the Athena wrinkle cream, I was pretty excited about trying it out. After about 3 days of waiting time, my Athena 7 Minute Lift finally arrived. I quickly opened it up to see what’s in the package. To my surprise, apart from the Athena wrinkle cream there are actually 2 more things – a nice little concealer brush for easy application on the face and a DVD which explains the correct method of using the Athena 7 Minute Lift. The wrinkle cream jar weighs about 0.5 oz and it can last for about 60 days. If you target only certain problem areas, it should last even longer.
After going through the instructions in the DVD, I started putting the cream on the crow’s feet around my eyes. After 7 minutes have gone by, I could really feel the lifting effects on the applied areas. It was very amazing as it really lifts up my face in such a short period of time as advertised. But I wouldn’t say that it has diminished the wrinkles by up to 83.7%, the reduction rate claimed by Athena Skincare. The Athena 7 Minute Lift has probably reduced the wrinkles around my eyes by about 40% at best. The lifting effects lasted for about 8 hours after each application. That’s my results but it could vary by person.
You might be wondering, is there any downside to it? To answer this question, I have summarized the pros and cons of the Athena 7 Minute Lift wrinkle cream below for your own reference:
The Pros:
- It does firm and lift the skin quickly, thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles.
- It contains natural oils which have no harmful effects on the skin.
- It is hypoallergenic – safe and effective for all skin types.
- It has a free DVD on how to use the cream.
- Free wordwide FedEx shipping and it comes with 60-day money back guarantee.
The cons:
- It doesn’t contain more advanced and ingredients like Matrixyl (copper peptides), Haloxyl, Renovage, Sesaflash or even Hyaluronic Acid.
- It creates some sort of “tight” sensation. This might be caused by the combination of minerals and botanical oils.
- It could have been cheaper.
Conclusion
In summary, the Athena 7 Minute Lift is a very good product that does in some way live up to my expectations. However I wouldn’t give it an excellent rating. If I am to buy another wrinkle cream again, I would definitely go after the Dermajuv Complete Rejuvenation System for deep wrinkle reduction or the Elite Eye Serum for skin problems around the eyes.
